Lowery Communications can provide individual coaching services to refresh and deepen skills taught in training programs, as well as to prepare physicians, nurses, executives and others for important meetings. These sessions can be face-to-face or over the phone or web. We have extensive experience in using desktop and laptop-based video cams to enhance the coaching experience.

Professional Coaching and Career Development Support

Joan is available to coach clients on career-related issues. She received an M.Ed. in Counseling and Adult Education from Antioch University with a specialty focus in Career Education. As a former consultant for Right Associates (San Francisco and Walnut Creek, CA) and Harbor Area Vocational Education Services (Boston, MA) Joan led Career Development workshops and provided one-on-one coaching for their clients. Many of their clients were health care organizations.

She has extensive experience and a passion for helping clients gain clarity about their careers; write resumes; prepare for interviews or important conversations; think through challenging issues and navigate through difficult times. She has worked with a variety of career-assessment tools, including Myers-Briggs; DISC and others.

While serving as a consultant for Right Associates Joan worked with the Director of Coaching and Training to create a customized program which helped at risk executives with serious communication problems learn to be more effective leaders. She used role playing with video feedback as an important and integral tool in the communication skills building process.

Joan would be delighted to offer coaching services to your staff. This could be done either face-to-face or over the web. She has extensive experience in using video webcams for webcasting trainings and individual coaching. She has helped many clients to feel comfortable using webcams, so that they can work on both verbal and non-verbal communication skills – regardless of the location.
